Oct 15. On Monday last, an inquest was held by W Joyner, Gent. one of the Coroners for this county, on view of the bodies of the two infant daughters of THOMAS WATKINS, of the parish of Newland, coalminer, who were burnt to death by their clothes taking fire, in the absence of their parents:

Reading through these inquests, this sort of death was far too common.
