Dec. INQUESTS. On Monday, an inquest was taken before Wm Joyner, Esq. Coroner, at Bream's Lodge, on view of the body of MARY ATKINSON, who, on the preceding Saturday morning, threw herself into a fish pool, and was drowned. It appeared in evidence, that she had become distracted, in consequence of a fellow servant, by whom she was pregnant, deserting her and leaving the country; which preyed so much on her mind as to drive her to the desperate act of suicide. After a patient investigation of six hours, by a most respectable jury, a verdict was returned of Lunacy.
