July 21: An inquest was held this week before John Cooke, Esq. Coroner, on view of the bodies of JOHN and GEORGE YEARN, brothers, aged eleven and thirteen years, who were drowned in the river Severn, at Newnham, on Sunday last. The lads were bathing together, and one getting out of his depth, it is supposed that the fatal catastrophe happened in consequence of the futile attempts of the other to render assistance. Verdicts, Accidental Death.
