There is a slight difference in the age of William KNIGHT in the GFHS 1851 Census transcription. Here is the entry:

1959 0142 145 High Beech KNIGHT William HD M 40 Coal Miner GLS High Beech East Dean
1959 0142 145 High Beech KNIGHT Sarah WI M 35 Wife GLS High Beech East Dean
1959 0142 145 High Beech KNIGHT William SO U 10 Coal Miner GLS High Beech East Dean
1959 0142 145 High Beech KNIGHT Hannah DA U 8 At Home GLS High Beech East Dean
1959 0142 145 High Beech KNIGHT Thomas SO U 7 At Home GLS High Beech East Dean
1959 0142 145 High Beech KNIGHT Timothy SO U 4 At Home GLS High Beech East Dean

Next door is this HATTON family:

1959 0142 146 High Beech HATTON Phillip HD M 29 Coal Miner GLS Joys Green East Dean
1959 0142 146 High Beech HATTON Ellinor WI M 24 Wife MON Blanavon [Blaenavon]
1959 0142 146 High Beech HATTON Joseph SO U 3 At Home MON Blanavon [Blaenavon]
1959 0142 146 High Beech HATTON Henry SO U 1 At Home MON Abercarn

and from the GFHS Marriage Index:
30 July 1836 William KNIGHT, extraparochial married Sarah HATTON, extraparochial by Banns at Ruardean.

I have this baptism in my database:
4 August 1816 Sarah HATTON baptised at Ruardean. Parents: Joseph HATTON and Elizabeth JONES who married at Ruardean on 20 December 1798

But from thne information I have Phillip does not appear to be a brother to Sarah. Full details from the KNIGHT/HATTON marriage entry would help clarify.

Mike
