I remember Nunky. We lived next door when I was a small child. His surname was Preece. My memory of his funeral report tells me that his name may have been Claude but I will ask my Aunt who lived in the adjoining cottage for many years after us to confirm this. Nunk and his mother appear on some of our family photographs. Why the interest?
