Smiths and Thomas' of Yorkley (General)

Would anyone have information on ancestors of George SMITH, born Yorkley 8th.March 1871, son of Joseph SMITH and Eliza formerly THOMAS. He later moved to Dowlais, Wales.

I would appreciate any information or suggestions for further research.
