My RUSSELL and BOUGHTON connections in Western Australia (General)

Miriam was born in 1866 at Ruardean her parents were Henry BOUGHTON (Bolton) and Ann BOUGHTON (formely WILCE).

In 1888 she married Rueben Velinder RUSSELL at Bymawr Brecon Wales and they had a total of 12 children all born at Ruardean.

Ruben died in 1927 and soon after Miriam and 6 of her children went to live at Perth Western Australia.

Miriam died in Perth in 1932. There is however many of Ruben and Miriam's decendants living in Western Australia and the surname Russell has continued on by the children who moved to their new country with Miriam.

These families are distantly related to myself as we all share the common ancestors of William COLE (1776 Welsh Bicknor) and Martha HOAR (1782 Goodrich).

What a small world!
