Some facts about the Ruardean Congregational Chapel (Announce)

Regrettably I have only just caught up with this thread as I have been away. However at least four of those listed are relatives of mine. The Rev John Horlick was my gggrandfather and Elizabeth Horlick was his wife. Leah Horlick was one of his daughters as was Elizabeth Marfell (nee Horlick).

Can anyone tell me what the current situation is concerning the future of the gravestones? I would have thought that at the very least a photographic record should be established.

I have read the copious regulations posted but am still not clear as to the responsibility of the developer/owner to maintain and ensure access to the gravestones.
