Thanks for your email. Can you tell me what relation James Barber was to you. I had an Uncle Jimmy born 1897 and died 1972. He was a pianist at a Kings cross cinema in silent days. He joined a ship's orchestra when talkies arrived. I know he married a lady who was the cousin of Josephine Lee (originally called Klee) and professional pianist. I think he married again and had a son called Jim born about 1931.
It could be the same person. Look forward to hearing from you.
