I would appreciate readers' knowledge of any connection between Winnie Virgo mentioned here and George Virgo who married Hilda Sterrey (my grandmother's sister.) They eventually lived at 3 Fairfield Drive, Lydney. George is said by various sources to have come from Blakeney, Brockhollands and Woolaston!
