Baptism transcripts for the year 1926 will be made available shortly.

Over the past year or so we have been conducting an audit of our databases. It has proved more time consuming than originally thought and has not been helped by illness and bereavement of family members of the small team which is currently keeping this site up and running.
We have also become aware that major updates in server software is forcing us to make changes to the software we use and in particular the scripts used to search the databases. If we do not make changes then we would be faced with an unworkable website.
We have therefore purchased new software and have recently brought it into use for the search of the 1841 and 1861 Census Index. To set up the new search facilities for each database takes time and we are grateful for your patience.
