FURTHER TO MY EARLIER POST WHERE I THOUGHT GEOGE FOX WAS WIDOWED BY 1861 CENSUS, THIS LOOKS LIKE AN ERROR. I HAVE JUST FOUND THIS, WHICH IS AN EVEN BETTER FIT FOR OUR GEORGE & HIS WIFE CAROLINE ??

So clearly George's wife Caroline didn't die as young as I'd thought... perhaps the 1878 death posted earlier was indeed hers ?

I have never before heard of a Lane End at Littledean, which is in EAST Dean, nr Cinderford. However I now find that there was indeed a Littledean Lane End near Broadwell, West Dean, which perfectly fits our family.

"Tillowell" which should read Pillowell, which is near Whitecroft, as per her Marriage Record.

SADLY OF COURSE, still no sign of George's mother Sarah, so no more clues as to her birthplace etc.
