Thomas NASH born in 1700s and his descendants (General)

I think this Richard NASH was the one baptised 1779 was the one buried in 1864, FoD gives age 85).
I understand that the Richard NASH baptised 1774 died in 1829. His burial on FoD gives his residence as Coleford and his age as 55, ie a birth year of 1774, giving rise to another branch of the NASH family.
I think the Richard NASH baptised 1779 (no FoD record) was the father of James Nash b1815, who had a son Thomas b1855, who is my great-grandfather.
Does anyone have anything to support a baptism date of 1779 for Richard NASH that was in the Forest.
