Mitcheldean Road Station & Railway Inn; video and photos ?. (General)

Cheers Peter, that map was the latest I could find and was moreorless same era as both video & photo. I stick with my thoughts re the video is prob looking north from the station, wheras the photo is looking south where I thought the pub was, compared to the station that is. But yes compared to the map you're right, it was/is further long the road, away from the sidings.


If only I'd know in advance the pub was a red brick building lol, it never occurred to me it would still be there. I can't believe I didn't think of using Streetview for the station, especially as I did use it when checking the view thro the village on the A40 haha. Nice brickwork features and still got the sash windows, very nice.

Like that retaining wall too by the way, very nice touch, and has given the new "little" house a lovely flat lawn too.

Off for a lie-down now...
