Regarding Levi Wilce, and his son Tom, who owned the Timber yard which later became Cinderford bus station and now Lidl supermarket. I've just found this entry in the Grace's Directory.

Established about twenty-five years ago by Levi Wilce.
Present Principal: Thomas M. Wilce.
Premises: Cover half an acre.

Business: Saw Milling.
Connection: United Kingdom. Telephone: No. 41 Cinderford. Telegraphic Address: " Scantling, Cinderford."
Bankers: Lloyds Bank Limited (Cinderford) .

According to his grandson's obituary;

“My father’s side of the family were Conservatives. My grandfather (Levi) at the time was probably the richest man in Cinderford."
