The Littledean trade directory for 1894 includes James Haines, blacksmith.

Harriet's father John Palmer, tailor of Littledean Rd Newnham, is in these Newnham editions from 1842 and 1876.

I see a Mrs Catherine Palmer is listed within the Nobility/Gentry section of the 1842 Newnham directory; I wonder if this could be a relation ?
