Hi again Peter,
I don't know if it will help us find Elizabeth, but have you tried looking for older brother Benjamin born 1851 ?

I cannot find him after the 1861 when he was still at home, as per my earlier post.

Thanks in advance if you're able to help,

Surname First name(s) District Vol Page
Births Sep 1850
Taylor Benjamin Monmouth 26 91

GlosBMD has;

Birth Details
Child Surname Child Forename Mother's Former Name Year District Office Register Entry
TAYLOR Benjamin JOYNES 1850 Forest of Dean Monmouth, Coleford 7 187

Suggests his mother was Ann JOYNES/JONES, and not JAMES as per the Marriage PR I posted earlier, especially as one of the witnesses was a Mary Jones.
However revisiting Henry and Ann's marriage in 1844, suggests not.

JAMES Ann Monmouth 26 89
TAYLOR Henry Monmouth 26 89

Marriage Details
Groom Surname Groom Forename Bride Surname Bride Forename District Parish Building Year Register Entry
TAYLOR Henry JAMES Ann Forest of Dean Newland All Saints 1844 1 327

NOT a particularly rare name, but if he stayed local, could this be him ?
It's the most likely I can find in Glos or Mons on FreeBMD.
