slowhands, I should have come back to you on the above two posts where you kindly gave lots of details of the families I am interested in. I did investigate all of your leads over time, and all of the details you included are in fact my family, now verified from a range of sources. This has led to other information about these families.

The only lead I have not yet followed through is your reference to the Cullis family living in Coalway Lane next door to the Josephs. I will get on to that in due course.
