I am searching for any information on Timothy Trigg married a Mary
daughter Kitty the family was from east dean I understand does anyone know
this branch of the trigg family or timothys wife marys maiden name thankyou anything would be great Ann

20 September 1889 Timothy Trigg applying for a re-grant. Dead rent to be £5, royalty 3d. but Trigg not happy ‘Dear Sir. Your terms are excessive for the old thrice abandoned gale.’ ‘There are if any only a few small pillars.’
Outcrop coal, a series of downthrow faults as Trigg had proved in Prosper Colliery on Harrow Hill. Had lost coal four times in driving eighty yards.
25 March 1890 Having begun the shaft the work was now standing for the want of stone to case the shaft. Wanting a lease of a disused quarry.

My main area of research is the Marfell family. I believe that Timothy Trigg is descended from the Marfells.
I have his father as John Trigg b. 1818 & Ann Matthews b. 1817.
John Trigg being son of George Benjamin Trigg b. 1789 & Lucy Marfell b. 1795.
Lucy was the daughter of John Marfell 1769/18.9.1840 & his first wife Elizabeth Roberts 1769/6.3.1802.
The following census entry had me foxed initially as I didn't have the second name Benjamin, all the other people match with my findings :

I have the will of Lucy Marfell's father John and a bequeath is made to Benjamin Trigg with Lucy having died before 1841.
I have the marriage certificate between John Trigg & Ann Matthews which shows his father as George, I also have the birth certificates for two of their children Lucy & Mary Ann.
I cannot follow the Penn connection, could someone explain.

There was speculation that Mary PENN was the future wife , I think it now looks like Mary MEEK - but I would need to revisit the thread !
