William BROOKS of Clearwell area born 1821 (General)

by noggerw, Saturday, March 21, 2009, 10:58 (5486 days ago)

Tried everywhere for a maiden name for the wife of ancestor William Brooks
b 1821 Clearwell area-
spouse is Harriett of Coleford/Clearwell origin born c.1822 -
children include George 1846, Clearwell-
mothers maiden name appears to be missing from parish records -
marriage is also not in records (c. 1841-1845 ?)
Also tried Ancestry and Family Search.

Any ideas on her surname gratefully appreciated

Is the James Weight in 1851 - James WRIGHT ? if so is this a clue to Harriet - could she be a WRIGHT ( or GWYN) ?

this confirms the confusion - latter BROOKS JONES marriage fixes this !
