Firstly,thanks for the help so far!
I have come to a stop trying to find the parents of Edwin Lander.
Edwin was born around 1828[Dunsburne or Stratton].He was the
father of my gt grandad James Lander.[1861].
Any information appreciated.I also am not sure of date of Edwins death.

Given the proximity of Daglingworth and Duntisbourne, and Stratton
I 'd say this is him in 1851, transcribed as Sander. <easily done>

Although the Golden Heart is now a private house it has retained its impressive cast iron inn sign which features a large golden heart. Apparently the occupants regularly receive requests for liquid refreshments!
There are a few other Lander's in the Duntisbourne area who would be likely siblings.
