Origin and History of the Baptist Church Cinderford
This is a copy of the history of the Church which was compiled by Mr. S. Jordan,
Secretary, in 1907, and published then in the magazine.
Richard Holyhead has patiently typed the contents of the article from the
original and kindly made it available for us all to read.

St Johns Church + Baptist Chapel ; Cinderford

St John ( the Evangelist) is the Anglican Church at the Stockwell Green end of Church Road , The Baptist Chapel is at the Triangle ( Commercial St) end of Church Road.
Both have their own graveyards, the Baptist chapel's being smaller than St John's.
