When posting a query, tell us what you want to know

Otherwise the answer is just going to be a stab in the dark. Probably the worst thing you can say is "looking for any information on William Jones". What information? - Be specific

If you are trying to find when and where a person married or the name of the parents, then make it clear that you are seeking that information.

It is frustrating for a respondent to spend a lot of time gathering and posting information about a query, then the original questioner, replies with "I already have that information".
