Public School Attendance (General)
Is there a way to find out where and how long an ancester attended public school?
Would I contact the village school (if still in existance) or are there records
stored somewhere else?
At this point I am looking for Ernest William Hill born 25/11/1907 and brother Arthur Hartly Hill b. 3/10/1910 who lived at Hillcrest, Bream (down the hill to Parkend). I believe that they attended
the Bream Infant School.

The Gloucester Record Office lists the Bream Infant School log books 1862 - 1941 on its website so they should be there. The admissions book doesn't seem to start until 1917, but there may be some information earlier.
