Samuel MILLARD 1854 - ? / Addendum (General)

I've just had a chat with my Granny and she tells me that the allowance was stopped when she was in her teens (she believes that Samuel died) and that she was in Canada when this happend. This means that Samuel Millards death must have occured after 1930 but probably before 1940.

If you can give me advice for looking up such a recent death I'd appreicate it.

Personally I am thinking that there must have been a court involved as my Grandmother was Samuels only natural issue as far as I can see. I can also see that Mary Ann Brotheridge's daughter would have been pretty upset as judging by the dates he fathered her and she would not really have known her biological father at all.
