Amelia MEEK b 1862 Ruardean (General)

Thank you slowhands. As I have stated before, the benefit of following the siblings and parents of partners, often leads to other connections.

I had not known before your entry that Amelia Meek daughter of George Meek & Eliza Davis had married Frederick Cloudley, but I can add the following as a result:

Frederick Cloudley was the son of Samuel Cloudley 1813 & Jane Lloyd 1822. Frederick Cloudley had a sister Charlotte who married Thomas Knight 1849. They had 10 children, including Annie Knight 1874 who married Evan Marfell 1877. They also had a daughter Lucy Knight 1870 who married Harry Powell 1868. Harry Powell & Lucy nee Knight had 4 children including Ann Charlotte Lillian Powell born 16 Sep 1903 who married Thomas Moll born 7 Sep 1902 Oglesby, LaSalle Illinois. The dates here are more specific thanks to the information received from the daughter in law of Thomas Moll 1902, who also provided the Ed Moll's Bar picture. Ed Moll is actually Eduard DE Mauw, born 17 October 1872 Maldegem, Belgium. Names were often simplified on board ship or at Ellis Island.
