my great grandfather thomas george davies was born in the coleford palmers flats or could be park end in the forest of dean his fathers name was henry davies and his mothers name was annie dobbs he wasnt baptised and married my great grandmother mary hannah thomas in salem newydd porth in the rhondda valley south wales he came to south wales to ply his trade as a stone mason which didnt provide enough wages and so took a job as a collier in the wattstown pit in the rhondda valley he had brothers william,sidney,james,mil,samuel,harold,les,frederick and three sisters elizabeth sissy and lil my grandmother betty davies the middle of toms 3 daughters (jeanette,betty,and joyce is still alive as is jeanette but joyce sadly died of bowel cancer in 1987)would dearly love to know more about her long lost family from the forset and so would i any info will be gladly recieved and i will try to be as quick with my replies
