Has anyone any information on Thomas WORGAN born 06.01.1828. probably Coleford area, his fathers name was Thomas but his mothers name is unknown. He went on to marry Mary Ann PRITCHARD at Llangattock in 1856, before moving to Newport, where he lived untill his death in 1890. I would be most grateful for any information. Many thanks.

Many thanks for the information you have given on the WORGAN family. However, I am not sure whether they are connected to my family. We have the date of birth for Thomas WORGAN as the 6th January, 1828 clearly written in a Family Bible, if only his parents names were written as well!
Many thanks once again for the interest you have shown. Pat.

There doesn't appear (at the moment) to be any baptisms/census records - difficult name - there are MORGAN etc on census returns.

A Thomas WORGAN is in my family about that time. Also, a Pritchard in the last 60 years or so. My PRITCHARD is probably not related. But, you never know.
You might check out my family tree on the internet. Jack R Worgan Family Tree. And, we can go from there.
Hope that we can connect.

Hello, Sorry I haven't contacted you before, but I haven't used this site for a while as I have tried researching other family names. My Thomas Worgan married Mary Ann Pritchard and lived in Newport, South Wales. They had 2 daughters Frances and Alice. I would love to hear from you if you think there is any connection.
Many thanks for getting in touch. Pat Benson
