The link to Iron and tin fits with the demise of tin manufacture at Redbrooke the family moved into stone cutting quarry owners.

I am not sure about the link to William/Elizabeth Prichard I am researching a link to William Jenkins of Mellingriffith (West Cardiff)

I believe Richard could have moved to Tredegar re existing family. I believe he had a Uncle (John) living close to Llandaff.

I believe the link to tin/iron is through the Coster and Vaughan families

I believe Anne the sister of your Richard died as a spinster in 1806.
