Citing Sources (General)

Hello everyone,

I wanted to get an opinion from the members on citing sources.

I try to be diligent in noting from where I get my information. However; now that I am keeping more and more documents, family trees, etc. online, it's also important to have my sources cited online as well as on the printout of the document.

I would like to have the proper format for citing my sources, but when it comes to citing the Forest of Dean Parish Records, I'm not sure how best to do that. I've seen several different ways to cite an online source, but am still not sure the best/proper format to use.

Recommendations?
