I've found a marriage on IGI index for a Thomas Whitehouse + Ann Webb
28 July 1834 Tewkesbury, but have no idea which church.
Can anyone help please?
In 1841 Ann (indexed)Whitchurch 1817 was living at High St West,Quay Bridge,
does this help narrow down church search.
Thankyou
Jackie

Tewkesbury is outside the Forest and the area we cover but as Ann Webb has a connection to the Forest here is a couple of web pages which will give you some information.
It appears that Tewkesbury Abbey is the parish church.

Searching 1851 Glos Census for WHITEHOUSE

Re the 1851 Census, the Glos FHS version gives a little more detail as below. The whole County Census only shows two Mary Whitehouses, one of which is clearly not ours, leaving;

I see the coal business appeared in other thread posts too, presumably this would have involved watermen to move it in bulk ?

So a household of Staffs then Hfds watermen, including a young grandson Jacob Whitehouse.
He becomes a Boatman himself not surprisingly, and his father is a Richard Whitehouse, Boatman, perhaps born c1840s.

Returning to the 1851 Census, the only other Whitehead household is perhaps not directly linked (altho has Midlands/Staffs connections and is on the Wye..), the same Lydbrook tinplater's household as MPG mentions.

WHITEHOUSE St Nicholas, Gloucester Marriage
by jacval , Friday, September 21, 2012, 14:57 (4523 days ago) @ jacval
Thanks to all who have replied, I do have census info up to 1891,so thanks again for the extra.
I'm quite certain of Mary Ann's parents, her father was a brother to my 2xg grandfather,
he and siblings state that their father was a Richard Whitehouse possibly born Staffs,
have been unable to locate any baptisms for them.Their mother was possibly Ann.
Hoping something may have turned up with the marriage of Wlm +Mary A.(1853)
could possibly have been cousins????
