Hales of Ruardean and Nailbridge (General)
In attempting to connect with the line of Hales written about in "The History of the Hale Family of Ruardean and Nailbridge" I come to a problem with the part about Isaac (b. abt. 1705) baptized (unless I'm mistaken) 2 May 1708 Ruardean, the son of Aaron and Elizabeth (Jordan?) Hale.
I can find no other Isaac Hale and find that an Isaac Hale married Ann Williams 1732, both of Ruardean. A child, Thomas, is born to an Isaac and Sarah Hale 1732 and baptized in Ruardean. After that three children are born to an Isaac and Anne Hale, Richard in 1733, Aron in 1736 and Rachel in 1738, all but the last baptized in Ruardean, Rachel bapt in Newnham.
I find no evidence of any Sarah Hale being buried until Sarah Hale in 1791, age 86. I presume that she is the Sarah wife of Isaac.
Could she have been named Sarah Anne? Were there two Isaac Hales in Ruardean who were about the same age? I find no baptism or marriage records for any other Isaac Hale.
Can anyone help figure this out or show where I've overlooked something?
Thank you
