We would like to scatter our parents ashes in the forest somewhere we could visit (any chance of planting or commisioning a tree to be planted in their memory}

Yew Tree Break is the "normal" crematorium for the Forest...

Speech House Road, Cinderford, Gloucestershire, GL14 3HU

You may of course wish to scatter the ashes privately at a favourite place in the Forest, depending upon your choice of area the landowners permission may need to be given.....

Thanks so much for your reply.
Our parents moved here to Derby many years ago due to work.
They were always so attached to Gloucester as are we.They both can be traced to the Forest of Dean Newent especially.It is where all our relatives (now dead) are.It's fitting they return.Thanks for your help.
