Aaron GOOLD and Family Cinderford, Newnham and Flaxley (General)

Hello I am looking for records and details of my husband's ancestor Aaron Goold who was borm around 1794 in Somerset but moved to the Forest where he was a mine owner of I think the Bilson and Crump Meadow mine in the mid 1800s. I am trying to find where he is buried. The parish records show Drybrook but I cant find a graveyard there. He was a Wesleyian Methodist. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

From a previous posting about gravestones in Drybrook churchyard.

in Holy Trinity Drybrook nearly all were just stacked in piles and unable to access them to decipher any details.

Looks like there is/was a "family" Vault in Holy Trinity Drybroook.

One mine with a connection - Duck Pit, Cinderford, Goold Brothers.
Edward Protheroe’s large collieries Bilson and Crumpmeadow were acquired by 1846 by a company headed by Aaron Goold, formerly his agent.

In 1859 local businessmen headed by Aaron Goold formed a limited company to provide gas in the Cinderford area for industrial and domestic use. The company, which built its works on Bilson green and started production the following year, was known as the Bilson Gas Light & Coke Co. until 1907 (fn. 59) when it was re-formed as the Cinderford Gas Co. (fn. 60)

In 1851 the colliery owner Aaron Goold opened a British school at Cinderford in connexion with Wesley, his chapel in Belle Vue Road. The school, which from 1853 occupied a new building north-east of St. John's church, in the later Church Road, had boys' and girls' departments and was intended by Goold for his employees' children. Its income came from subscriptions paid by the workmen. Goold's sons ran the school after his death in 1862 and it had an average attendance of 170 in 1863.
