I am tracing my Family Tree and have discovered I have a number of ancestors called HATTON from the town of RUARDEAN.

My last positive link is JOSEPH HATTON, born in 1806, who married a MARY (poss. Evans) around 1827 and had 7 children, including JONATHAN (1832 - my Great, Great Grandfather).

I have found various other Hattons from Ruardean; including Joseph (a shoemaker), his wife Elizabeth and their children but have so far not been able to make a possitive link with the first Joseph.

I would be interested to know if anyone is also looking into the Hattons or if they can provide any further information. Thanks
