Birth or Baptism of Jeptha James (General)

Can anyone help please,
I`m trying to find either the Birth or Baptism of Jeptha James of Pillowell. According to the Census He was born c1869.And he was burried at St Pauls Parkend 29th April 1914 His Parents were Jeptha and Sarah nee Hatton I can find him ok on the Census returns but no trace of his Birth
any help or suggestions would be appreciated
