The unknown photo is of what was the Co-op in Parkend Road Yorkley. The lower
part on the right became the butchers shop and above the butchers became the
offices. The left hand side of the building was used as a warehouse for the
shop. I was born 2 doors away and in my youth broke the large window having just
been given a new cricket bat. My father was the bowler!! The building is now
converted into flats.

Ian Thomas has kindly sent us two photos he took this month of the Building that was once the Yorkley Co-op and of which now now been converted into flats.
Compare the photos which were taken 110 years apart.
