After the death of Nathaniel Hawkings brother Thomas Hawkings in 1826, Thomas Hawkings 1798 and first wife Mary Ann Roberts 1799, must have had another Thomas Hawkings in 1826/1827 as son Thomas is shown in 1841, he then marries in 1844 and you will note the witness sister Arabella :

The family is in my Family Tree as Thomas Hawkings 1798 first wife Mary Ann Roberts is my 3rd cousin 4 times removed, so all their descendants are related to me.

Thomas Hawkings 1798 & Mary Ann Roberts daughter Ellen 1833 married Thomas Miles 1833 and I have a considerable number of descendants from their daughter Mary Ann 1855 who married William Evans and they emigrated to New Zealand.
