Beauchamp Arms and Blacklands Farm at Dymock (General)
by ChristopherTurner, Friday, February 25, 2011, 11:40 (5089 days ago)
Hello
I have just found this site whilst trying to glean some information about my ancestors named TURNER. In particular, I would love to hear from anyone with information about Blacklands Farm and the Beauchamp Arms when my great grandfather was the reported owner sometime on from about 1919. His surname was TURNER, but I don't know his first name, possibly RALPH.

Beauchamp Arms and Blacklands Farm at Dymock
by unknown, Sunday, May 13, 2012, 12:48 (4646 days ago) @ ChristopherTurner
My great great grandfather was Ralph Edward 'Pop' Turner, my great grandmother (his daughter was Winifred Violet Turner, they lived in Dymock in childhood then moved to Newent. The Nash family mentioned by some replies to this thread are reference to my great great auntie Lilian Turner's husband, though he died found so never knew him. I recently found out that they had a brother called Ralph Swain Turner, though I am unsure if he had anything to do with the pub or not.

Ralph Swain was my grandfather, and Ralph Edward was my great grandfather. You have filled in some blanks for which I am extremely grateful. I am not sure what relation you are to me - perhaps you can work it out. Chris
