Birthplace Glam Pen____ (General)

Hi All
Must say that this is one of the best research sites I have come across and must congratulate all who contribute. This is my first post and hope someone may be able to help. I have had Beavingtons 1851 census CD for some years but have continually come to a dead end trying to locate my grandfather Frederick Thomas. I am trying to get as many clues as possible before I can post more details here for any much appreciated help. I may have located his father / grandfather on 1851 census CD showing James Thomas:age 36: carpenter: birthplace Glam Pen____:. Would anyone have any ideas where Glam Pen___ is please ? Thanks in anticipation
