John Pengry and/or Catherine Bower (General)
Seeking any information on either John Pengry or Catherine Bower of Mitcheldean, John was present in Mitcheldean as of 1550 per "A History of the County of Gloucester: Volume 5: Bledisloe Hundred, St. Briavels Hundred, The Forest of Dean". Online unsourced material suggests John's birthdte of about 1570 and his marraige to Catheine Bower as of about 1600. Children named include Thomas (b 1602?), Moses (1610?), Aaron (1610?) and Bridgett (1605?) Moses and Aaron moved to Upton Bishop and were present there as of 1638 before immigrating to Ipswich, Massachusetts
John's father resported John Pengry, spouse unknown. Catherine's father is reported as John Bower, spouse unknown.
Any assistance in verifying marraige, death or birthdate plus location of those named above will be appreciated.
Thank you.
