NOW. I have searched high and low here in Australia and I cannot find evidence of when Percy arrived in Australia. Probably between 1928 after his marriage and befor 1931. I've found him the Aussie electoral roll with Helen Christina in 1931 through 1954.

From 1931 to 1954 there are no children listed with the couple and I know they had three children. In 1954 John there son is listed as a cheese maker living with or next door.

It looks like Percival Tibbs first went to Australia in 1924.

He is listed under that name with his address as Hayward Road Cinderford Glos aboard the ship Moreton Bay, departed 5th Feb 1924

He is contracted to land in Melbourne, listed as a Patern Mkr Assistant aged 18

Then on 9th June 1928 a Mr P Tibbs of Hayward Road Cinderford arrives from Melbourne aboard the Orama, disembarks in London, recorded as a labourer, an adult though an age of 28? has been added(as with all other passengers on the page)

The Gibbs family came back to the UK for a visit in 1956/1957
