Hi,
did you followup MPG's suggestion in earlier post, namely ?

"West Midlands BDM - have Hiram/Ephraim & Louisa PARKER's birth records (Kingswinford) - these obviously would give the mother's maiden name."

Abia STEVENS - "PARKER"/ "SIMMONS"

by slowhands @, proud of his ancient Dean Forest roots, Monday, April 08, 2013, 07:45 (4315 days ago) @ rachael21

there are several challenges here, i.e.Hannah "PARKER" 1834 and sister Abia "PARKER" born approx 1841 Drybrook and Philip "PARKER" born approx 1838 Drybrook

The more I look into this the I suspect a change of marriages rather than a simple single union.

So it looks increasing like Abi PARKER (senior) is in fact Bia STEVENS/STEPHENS ? -

This looks like them in South Wales in 1841 - Llanover is a few miles north of Pontypool so fits with 1881 census below.

1841
Emanuel Simon abt 1816 Llanover Upper, Monmouthshire
Alice [ABIA] Simon abt 1815 Llanover Upper,
Alia Simon abt 1833 Llanover Upper,
Ann Simon abt 1840 Llanover Upper,
Joseph Simon abt 1832 Llanover Upper,
Phillip Simon abt 1838 Llanover Upper,

Now to add to my "gut feel" there is a marriage which I strongly suspect is Abia 1841 PARKER/SIMMONS :-

1861
Abiah Parker abt 1811 St Brawels He??[HUNDRED], Gloucestershire, England Head Kingswinford, Staffordshire
Abiah Parker abt 1841 Drybrook, Gloucestershire, England Daughter Kingswinford

Some obvious follow up questions ...

Is Emmanual SIMMONS == William PARKER ?

no evidence of a marriage for Abia and William PARKER (so far)
Emanual and William are of similar age, on census data
no evidence for a William PARKER death record (So far)
