Ann ROBERTS Admission information New Dean House of Correcti (General)
Thanks to the people who have helped so far but the story of Ann ROBERTS daughter of Moses ROBERTS and Priscilla BALDWIN becomes even more interesting. In the 1840s she was orphaned and at the time of the 1851 census she is in jail at the Lettle Dean Correction Home (Jail). I have found lots of information about the jail but can anybody please tell me if admission information for the jail is available and how I can access it. Thanks again. I am happy to add this is the only time she had an encounter with the law, Peter I

Thank you very much for finding this information for me. Not a good idea to steal from your boss when he is the local magistrate. She went on to marry a policeman!
