Oliver KEAR b c1855/60 West Dean (General)
There is considerable doubt that Oliver was Isaac Kear's son who married Mary Ann Wellington in Gloucester 9th Feb 1858. Their only son Frederick William b.4Q1859 was my Ggrandfather. There was a lot of trouble between Isaac & Mary Ann & her family leading to Isaac going to the Civil War in US. But he did know Oliver because descendents in Illinois know that they met. Oliver I believe married in 1881 at La Salle, Illinois to Ella Healey. Could it be that Oliver is the illegitimate son of Mary Ann, as her father's name on the marriage certificate to Isaac is Thomas. Isaac died in Streator, Illinois 21st Feb 1913.
