Cause of Death Thomas MACKLIN 1778 - 1831 (General)
Hello I am seeking urgent assistance. My Brother in law is Thomas Macklin's { b 1778 d 23/7/1831] ggg grandson and he has a rare form of motor neuron disease. We are desperately tracking back all ancestors for cause of death and cannot find a death certificate for Thomas. This is vital for my nieces and nephews as we need to determine if this disease is in fact genetic. I do hope someone can help me re a cause of death for Thomas as his age of death is worrying as he was young and my brother in law is only 53. This disease hits young.

The condition MND was first described in full by the French neurologist Jean-Martin Charcot in 1869.
I hope your research can help, however I suspect that the condition if present would have gone undetected or falsely labelled as something else.
