I sent for the Will of John WICKENDEN - 1849 of Bradley Hill (cousin to my WICKENDEN line)

This is the last Will & Testament of me John WICKENDEN of Bradley Hill in her Majestys Forest of Dean, Labourer. At my discease and dispose of my wordly Goods as follows to Susanna WICKENDEN BEDDIS (...........)

Four Cottages, Gardens and Orchard situate on Bradley Hill after paying Mr Samuel Hewlett the mortgage of £250 and five years Interest and upwards also two Bedsteads two Beds two pair mattress counterpanes two chests five chairs two tables two Iron Pots two Hogsheads one Barrel two (...... quarrys?) and Tools one Wheelbarrow and a Rick of Hay, the said Susanna WICKENDEN BEDDIS to receive all my just debts and to pay all my legal debts out of the estate.

As witness my hand this 20th day of April one thousand eight hundred and forty three.

Appeared personally Susanna WICKENDEN BEDDIS of Bradley Hill in the Township of East Dean in the County of Gloucester, Spinster, and alleged upon oath that this paperwriting contains the last Will and Testament of John WICKENDEN late of Bradley Hill aforesaid deceased who died on the 30th day of April 1843 leaving Goods Chattels and credits? wholly writen within the Jurisdiction of the Conist... Court of Gloucester under the value of Twenty pounds. That she is the Executrix by constitution and implication of the said Will that she will well and faithfully perform the same and render an Inventory and accounts.

Wherefore she prayed? probate. Let probate pafs as prayed
