Sarah Coopey - which other Coopeys is she related to? (General)
by Rachandgarry, Friday, October 11, 2013, 23:27 (4110 days ago)
Hi all,
My great-great-grandmother Sarah Coopey, was born in Churcham in 1879 to parents Joseph and Isabella Coopey (nee Turner).
Does anyone have any trees that include her, that I can get collaborate with?
Thanks
Rachel

Have you used the 'Search'
- there are previous threads on Coopey of Churcham, but can't see to do the link (?) not sure if it's me or this website.
?
Do you belong to Ancestry - there are 6 Public Members Trees with this family

Hi M,
lovely day here for your golf in between the forecast rain. Re posting direct links to prior posts, yes it's more awkward with this new website format. My method is to hold your mouse pointer midscreen over the relevant post, click R/H button, click "properties" on the resulting dropdown menu, so displays the precise "Address(URL)". Copy this and paste onto your new post to give a direct hyperlink, as I have below. Same method applies to linking to other items, photos, etc off the new site.
Unfortunately the old way of just copy & pasting the URL from top of your browser only gives a link to the overall site, not individual items.
Hoping this helps you, I've made it sound harder than it is :-)
Here's a couple of those old Coopey/Churcham threads,

Hi Rachel, welcome to the forum,
please do try searching the forum and the whole website yourself, there's a huge amount of info available. Re the forum, the above thread has a member named "Coopey". Their username is displayed in blue, meaning they should be still actively using the site occasionally. If you click their blue icon you can send direct & private emails directly to their email inbox, so perhaps more likely that they will see it and hopefully help you out.
Good luck, J

Right click. Open in new window. Is possibly an easier option

Evening S, good to hear from you.
Thanks for the suggestion which I hope will suit the majority on the forum, unless like me they're still using Vista, warts n all, which doesn't seem to offer the "new window" option as far as I can see.
Why can't driving a Windows pc be as easy as driving a car ??? :-)

One of the systems that I test the Forum on is a VISTA system running Explorer 9 and it works OK for me :-)

Will try that after our 'hols'
Just played 18 holes of Golf in dreadful weather - and need to dry the Clubs and us - as we're off with friends to Turkey tomorrow to play golf and lap up some sunshine!
