I have just found this site as I was looking for the Old George, Mitcheldean, my grandfather lived their also in 1911 census, alot of my family lived in Mitcheldean, I have a relation of Carpenter but I do not think it is the same one. I used to visit the Old George when I was a small girl with my parents as my Mum was from Mitcheldean
