Jesse MORSE family (and PHIPPS) (General)

by vicmillard, Monday, April 05, 2021, 11:14 (1362 days ago)

Morning!
Once again, I need fresh eyes!
Jesse MORSE (b. 24.6.1849) of Whitecroft
I have him in 1901, with wife, Elizabeth Davies (b. 1860) and ten children. All are buried at St James, Bream.
His father is given as Samuel Morse of Ruardean and wife, Mary.
I now have more Samuel Morses than you can shake a stick at!
So:
1. Which Samuel is Jesse’s dad?
2. Was Samuel’s wife illegitimate (and if so, is there any path to find out who she was)?
3. Is anyone else on here researching MORSE/PHIPPS, as I am drowning in them!! :)
Thank you, as always.
